    The children participated in our 'give up' week in aid of our chosen school charity - The Midlands Air Ambulance. The most popular choice of things to 'give up' seems to have been chocolate and crisps! We look forward to seeing how much money the children have managed to raise.

    Our Reception Class welcomed our school nurse into school on Tuesday. The nurse talked to the children about Healthy Eating which links with our Jamie Oliver theme. The children then enjoyed taking part in activities and learnt about how important it is to eat 5-a-day and to have healthy lunchboxes.

    KS1 took part in a Maths Problem Solving day on Monday. The children solved logic, calculation and measurement problems in the morning and then in the afternoon they ventured into our lovely school grounds to take part in a maths trail. 

    Yesterday was World Book Day - all the children and staff dressed as their favourite book character. The children had a fantastic day and participated in activities about authors, books and illustrators.

    We were excited to see our photo in the Evesham Journal yesterday. The story covered the day when representatives from the Midlands Air Ambulance visited our school to explain the importance of their service. The organisation is our school charity this year.

    The children returned to school after the half-term break. Year 4 continue to enjoy learning the violin on Monday afternoons and attending swimming lessons on Thursdays. The whole school was involved in an e-safety day on Friday. The PTFA organised two discos on Friday night which were enjoyed by staff and pupils alike.

    The children thoroughly enjoyed eating 'bangers and mash' and pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. We walked to St James' Church on Wednesday for the Ash Wednesday Service taken by Reverend Thorniley. Some of our Year Four and Five pupils attended our annual residential trip to Malvern Outdoor Elements and had an absolutely fantastic time!

    Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!
