Sport
All children participate in two lessons of physical education each week. We follow a well structured PE plan for our curriculum learning. We are also fortunate to work closely with AU Sport and a professional sports coach teaches PE sessions each week.
Each term we hold a sport enrichment day when all children take part in activities learning new skills.
Some children work with the PE lead to be trained as Sports Ministers. Their role is to lead sporting activities within school.
At playtime and lunchtime there are always a fabulous range of play equipment for the children to use to encourage them to be physically active and our sports coach runs activities during 3 lunchtime sessions.
We have outdoor gym equipment and a trim trail for the children to use.
We also play in teams and compete against other schools in football and netball.
