    Thank you to everyone who joined us for our music concert on Monday afternoon - the children played beautifully. Well done musicians!

    As part of the RE curriculum, Year 3 visited the Shri Venkateswara Hindu Temple in Tividale on Tuesday. The children enjoyed a guided tour of the temple, listened to Hindu stories and offered fruit to the gods. 

    We held a moving Easter Service on Wednesday, thank you to Reverend Richard for leading this. 

    Today, Year 4 performed brilliantly at the Cluster Music Event at The Arts Centre.

    Class Catering cooked a delicious Easter lunch today which was followed by Easter chocolate cakes. Thank you to Class Catering for preparing and cooking.

    We break up for the Easter holidays today and return on Monday 29th April.

    On Monday Year 5 visited The Arts Centre to participate in the Festival of Languages with other local schools.

    We held Parent Consultation Evenings on Monday and Tuesday of this week when parents heard of their child's learning and progress. Thank you to everyone who attended.

    Nursery and Reception class enjoyed an Easter Together Morning on Tuesday. There were lots of Easter activities and Reverend Richard read the Easter Story, this was then followed by an Easter bonnet parade in the school hall. The children looked wonderful in their creations!

    For the first time in Harvington First School's history we won the swimming gala! Many congratulations to all the competitors!

    On Thursday, Mrs Clark accompanied four Year Two children to Badsey First School for a maths gifted and talented workshop.

    Six members of our Sunshine Group and Mrs Sale attended an RE local cluster hub event at St Peter's Church in Bengeworth on Friday. The group met with children from other local schools to share their vision and values and discussed the role of the Sunshine Group.

    The PTFA held a very successful Chocolate Bingo on Friday evening. Thank you to everyone who supported this - you raised a fantastic £364 for the school. Special thanks also go to our brilliant bingo callers - Mrs Fishbourne and Mrs Enstone!
