‘Together we love, learn and grow’
At Harvington C of E First and Nursery School we carefully plan a wide range of trips, visits and events to enrich the curriculum opportunities for all children.
Each class go on an external visit one a term and these are planned to enhance the children's learning. These visits include: outdoor learning at Bishopswood, Almonry Museum in Evesham, a village walk to Ellenden Farm, Leicester Space Centre, the Synagogue in Birmingham, Hartlebury museum, Hindu Temple, Worcester Cathedral, Mary Arden's Farm, Islamic Exhibition Centre, Compton Verney, Bristol Science Museum.
Year Five attend a three day residential visit where they participate in many outdoor activities including the zip wire, maze and team building, problem solving challenges.
All the children also attend St James' Church as a whole school, for church services, for example, Advent and Ash Wednesday.
