Reception Class had a visit from a member of the School Nursing Team on Tuesday who talked to the children about the importance of dental care. They all had a turn using a large scale model toothbrush and teeth! The children asked some fantastic questions such as 'What is it like when it's the first time brushing your teeth on your own?' and 'How does it feel to have a bad tooth?'

Year One have been busy writing letters to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who will be celebrating her official 90th Birthday in June.

As part of Year Two's St Lucia theme, the children have been designing and creating St Lucian fish. They have learned how to sew running stitches and how to sew on buttons for the scales.

KS2 enjoyed taking part in an art day today - there are some superb paintings which have been based on Monet's landscapes.

On Thursday Year Two visited Worcester Cathedral. They had a guided tour of the Cathedral, made prayer stones and gruesome gargoyles. They also enjoyed eating their lunch in the Monk's garden. The Bishop of Worcester came to say hello and told Year Two all about his job.

All the children are looking forward to next week's discos kindly organised by the PTFA. Hot dogs for KS2 can be ordered in advance.
