Grade 3 Teaching Assistant

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am until 3pm (30 minute lunch)

Scale Point 7: £14,177.64 per annum

We wish to appoint a qualified, confident, experienced and self-motivated teaching assistant to join our Inclusion Team.

Successful candidates will need to:

  • have a desire to work with children with special educational needs, supporting their communication, social, emotional and sensory needs
  • have a good knowledge of SEND
  • have a willingness to learn more and be passionate about supporting children to achieve their very best at all times
  • be an enthusiastic, hardworking professional who can motivate and inspire children and use innovative teaching strategies
  • be an excellent team player and role model and be able to work collaboratively with all school staff.
  • be committed to developing your own professional development
  • have experience of working with SEND children with a good awareness of supporting the teaching to achieve EHCP targets and IEP targets identified
  • have the ability to work independently to successfully deliver identified intervention strategies
  • be able to manage the work of other staff responsible for intervention

The successful candidate will be well supported by our school Inclusion Lead and become part of a friendly team.

7.45am to 8.30am (Breakfast Club) and/or 3pm to 6pm (After School Club) Monday to Friday

Permanent post, term time only, starting September 2022
