The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association – the PTFA – is a long standing home-school association. It is made up of parents whose children attend the school and others who would like to support us. All parents and carers automatically join this body when their child joins the school.
The organisation has two principal aims:
All money raised goes directly towards providing resources for the children. It helps us to finance immediate and longer-term goals. We are most grateful for the support of the Friends and hope that their interest and generosity will continue in the future. The money this body raise makes a significant difference to the provision the children receive
Fireworks Night 2019!
What a night! The atmosphere was amazing.
Before the event even began, we knew it was going to be great due to amount of pre bought tickets. This was confirmed early on with a queue at the door eagerly awaiting to be let in.
Everyone that came enjoyed pork baps, hot dogs, candy floss, sweets and gallons of Hot chocolate. Not forgetting, the huge amount of delicious cakes that were made and donated.
This year we had LED light tubes for sale and they proved very popular with the children, and adults!
The anticipation grew as we waited for the show to begin and it did not disappoint. This year was even bigger and better than the last. Thank you to ultimate Fireworks for putting on a great show and to quote someone who came up to us after and said “the best display I’ve seen in years.”
We raised a staggering £655. Thank you to everyone that helped make this event such a success but most of all thank you to everyone for coming!
Please use this form to order tickets / feed back on events / make suggestions. Please also let us know if you are able to help in ANY way. The PTFA depends on help from our fabulous parents - whether it be helping at events or joining us for meetings every couple of months. Perhaps you could bake us a cake for the Summer Sizzler? All help in all forms very gratefully received - we'd love to hear from you!
