Harvington C of E First and Nursery School

‘Together we love, learn and grow’

PTFA

What is the PTFA?

The PTFA is an opportunity for all parents to make a contribution to school life, outside the normal curriculum. We are a fundraising body, which seeks to support the children in the school, providing them with additional funds to support school trips, equipment and much more. Whilst fundraising we also aim to have fun!

Come along and join us
We are always looking for new people to join our meetings with new ideas. All parents are automatically members of the PTFA and are invited to all our meetings and events.

PTFA events are shared on the newsletter, through the app service as well as ParentPay. As we are a 'cash free' school, children will need to be signed up through the ParentPay app.

Our Wish List

The money raised by the PTFA supports the school in many different ways.

This is how some of the money gets used:

Workshops for all the children to take part in. These have ranged from science workshops, drumming workshops and DT workshops.

Ising Pop

Bike ability for Year 5

Pantomime

All classes have allocated money to be used towards the cost of trips, this allows trips to be cheaper for all parents.

Each class has allocated money to spend on resources to support learning E.G. ingredients for cooking lessons
