The children performed amazingly at this year's Christmas production of 'The Stars come out for Christmas'. In total we had four performances which were directed by our very talented Mrs Enstone.

The local community were invited to come and watch Monday afternoon's performance after which they were served coffee and mince pies very kindly organised by the PTFA.

We have received many lovely messages from parents saying how wonderful the children were - well done to everyone!

On Wednesday, the whole school visited the Swan Theatre in Worcester to see the pantomime Cinderella. A fantastic morning was had by all. Tesco very kindly donated chocolate biscuits for all the children to enjoy during the interval - thank you Tesco and thank you to Mrs Fishbourne for organising the trip.

We held our Christmas party lunch on Thursday. Table leaders had made decorations for the tables which looked fantastic. Class Catering cooked a lovely roast turkey with all the trimmings which was served to the children by staff members. Several volunteers and governors were invited to join us for lunch. Thank you to everyone involved.

During the afternoon we had a very special visit from Father Christmas himself. The children were very excited to see him and he very kindly gave all the children a Christmas gift, helped by his two Elves.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported our school charity St Richard's Hospice this term.  The mug decorating has raised the fantastic amount of £388.48, the children really enjoyed making them and did some brilliant designs.  Special thank you to our school Charity Ministers Elaina, Darcy, Harry and Finlay who have worked very hard delivering mugs to classes, wrapping them and counting all of the money raised!

Together with the money donated at the Christmas productions we were really pleased to be able give £532 to St Richard's Hospice today.

School finishes today at 3pm and Wrappers at 5pm.

May we wish you a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 4th January 2017.

Nursery and Reception enjoyed a 'Christmas Together Day' on Monday. The children could choose to dress up as Mary, Joseph, a shepherd or even a reindeer to help pull the sleigh. They were able to make many lovely Christmas decorations such as bouncing snowmen and Christmas Angels.

We held our music concert in the school hall where the children who have been learning to play a musical instrument had the opportunity to perform.Year One played a piece on their recorders, Year Three performed on their fifes and Year 5 played the violin. Thank you to all parents/carers who attended.

The children have enjoyed taking part in dress rehearsals this week for this year's Christmas production 'The Stars come out for Christmas'. We are looking forward to performing next week to parents, carers and member of our local community.

On Tuesday we went into assembly to teach the children about thankfulness. We used puppets to tell the story and the message was ‘’count your blessings’’

The children enjoyed the story and could answer our questions. By Freya Dishart and Ethan Nicol (Sunshine Mininsters)

On Wednesday the whole school walked to St James' Church to attend an Advent Service led by Reverend Richard. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

The Reception children had a wonderful day at Smart Trees in Bishampton. The children took part in small group orienteering and developed their understanding around Christmas.
