Early Birds and Wrappers

At Harvington CE First and Nursery School we offer childcare support in both the mornings and afternoons, until 6pm. This is in school and led by school staff.

However,  it is more than childcare and that is why it is included in our 'enrichment curriculum' section!

Our Early Birds and Wrappers are like another school family. They are encouraged to make friends with different year groups, they learn about healthy eating, using the correct cutlery and table manners and are encouraged to have those special 'family type' conversations. They enjoy a selection of different activities including outside play, forest school, art, design, sport and different learning challenges. The children learn to socialise with others and cooperate and consider different age groups and needs.

It is more than childcare it is another place to learn.
