On Wednesday 6th March Years R, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 walked to St James’ Church to take part in our Ash Wednesday service led by Reverend Thorniley. Thank you to all parents/carers who attended.
We hosted a Scholastic Book Fair in school this week. Children had the opportunity to purchase a book and use their World Book Day Token. Thank you to everyone who supported this. We look forward to buying some new books for our library with the commission.
On Friday, our theme for World Book Day was 'Elmer'. The children were asked to come into school dressed in bright colours. All classes read the story of Elmer and participated in different activities throughout the day, some of which included painting, cooking and film making.
