Week commencing 29th April 2019

We all returned to school on Monday after a lovely Easter break.

This week Year 5 children participated in Bikeability training. They learned how to ride their bikes correctly perfecting turns, safe riding and emergency stops. Thank you to our instructors Robin and Pam and to Mrs Sale for accompanying the children out on the roads. Well done Year 5 you were all brilliant!

Music lessons started again this week with Mr Blackman and Mr Telford - please remember instruments and music.

Year 4 enjoyed the first of their swimming lessons yesterday.

Miss Beaver took four Year 3 children to St Andrew's First School yesterday for a Cluster Writing Event. The children watched a video and listened to sounds of the beach then were asked to write a story about a desert island. Well done to everyone who took part.

Year 5 wrapped up warm today for their bell boating trip on the River Avon - they are getting into practise for the school regatta to be held in June. We wish them the very best of luck and hope for better weather!
