Harvington C of E First and Nursery School

‘Together we love, learn and grow’

Week commencing 14th November 2016

Our Year 5 class attended an Indoor Athletics Competition on Tuesday morning at The De Montfort School in Evesham. The children competed against other Year 5/6 children from local schools and took part in track and field events such as speed bounce and relay races. Well done to everyone who took part!

Also on Tuesday, the School Council visited the Teams4U warehouse in Evesham. The children were told about where the shoe boxes would go and helped volunteers check them before they get sent to Romania. The children worked really hard and had a great afternoon.

This week our ECO Warriors hosted a Cluster ECO meeting. We shared what we do as a school and learned what other ECO groups do too. We enjoyed welcoming our visitors and sharing our ideas.

Key Stage 2 have been extremely busy this week making and baking yummy biscuits to sell today to raise money for Children In Need.

All children and staff have participated in Children In Need by coming into school dressed in their pyjamas in exchange for a donation. The money has now been counted and we are pleased to say we have raised a fantastic £320.00! Thank you to everyone who has supported this.
