We have a small number of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). These pupils are supported by excellently organised provision within school and all pupils respond well to this support and make very good progress. Termly meetings are held between the class teacher and parent and the child's 'Individual Education Plan' (IEP) is reviewed as part of this meeting. If extra support or advice is required then the school may refer to external agencies.
If any parent needs further advice or support about their child's learning or behavioural needs then they are encouraged to speak to their child's class teacher in the first instance or book a meeting with the SEND lead teacher, Helen Fishbourne. Further information can be found in the SEND information and policy, by clicking on the links below.
If any parent has a complaint about their child's provision and support then they need to follow the complaints procedure, available on the 'policies' section under 'key information' or request a paper copy from the office.
The school's governor with responsibility for SEND is Mrs J. Seymour.
